"Cancer was definitely not something that I had included in my 'Five Year Plan,' but now as I join the many others across the country that are fighting to make it through, I can honestly say that I am extremely grateful for this experience. I have gained such a strong appreciation for the beauty of life and for the blessing it is to be alive."

The title for this image comes from one of my favorite (weird) Radiohead songs. Being bald is not really part of Whitney's self-image, so this took a lot of courage. It is a gift from Whitney to allow us to photograph her in this way, and for allowing me to share them with you. See the adjacent images for more about Whitney.
