Love is Blind - WPPI Award

We've been at WPPI for a couple of days now and it's been great. We got to participate in the print judging and see the process first-hand. It was especially fun to see some of our prints come up and listen to the judges' comments. This image of Alesha was a risky entry -- eyes closed, mid-stride, non-traditional. But it's one of our favorite images, so we went with our hearts. There was some controversy and disagreement between the judges, but the scores averaged out more than enough to earn an accolade. We had some other prints earn accolades as well -- I will try to post those in the coming days. A few of our prints didn't make the cut, but I didn't feel so bad because I saw some great and quite famous photographers' work end up with similar scores. The judging is that tough!
