It was a grand day. For a slideshow, CLICK HERE. And please, read on....

I think that everyone will agree it was a perfect day -- the weather, for late December, couldn't have been better; friends and family were in a festive mood; and the bride & groom are obviously dearly loved. And for good reason.

An endless supply of cake and milk was served. Canyon's brothers provided the entertainment with a superb selection of Grateful Dead, Neil Young and Dead Milkmen (huh?) songs. They even busted out an accordion. A pinata full of candy gave the kids something to whack. It was a real good time, I tell you.

But the best part of the reception for me was the song Canyon sang to Hannah. He explained that they met when they were ages 15/16, but lived far apart. Then he played a love song, with clever but sweet lyrics, that he wrote for her. Wow! It was good. She's probably heard it a million times -- is there a recording, guys? I'd like to hear it again.

Thanks Nick and Signe for being a part of our perfect day. We are in Livermore this weekend for the openhouse. We are in the "Monster storm." So it was a pleasant diversion to get on your site and enjoy how you captured the wedding day a week ago. You added a lot to our whole wedding experience.
