Postcards from Paris

Postcards from Paris

We have some clients traveling to Paris soon, and it looks like we might be going back in the spring (fingers crossed!), so I thought I would put up some more photographs from our trip last April to get everybody in the mood. Signe is studying and practicing French every day now, she's my tour guide! Next time you call the studio, say "Bonjour!"

See earlier Paris posts HERE and HERE and HERE.

This little piggy went to market....

A couple sits under the magnificent blooms in the garden at Notre Dame.

Notre Dame has spooky gargoyles.

All of the girls there are supermodels...

The kiss...or the thinker...or I'm thinking about a kiss.

Here I am at the Louvre.

The French cookie is bigger, but less filling.

The Plat du jour.

Can't have too many shots of the Eiffel Tower.

You can rent a bike on the streets of Paris -- coin operated.

It rained -- a lot -- the day we went to Montmartre.

A really cool photojournalism exhibit displayed on the fence surrounding the Jardin du Luxembourg.

If you read all the writing on the sign, it just says "mashed potatoes." Those crazy French....

Nerd Choice.

Oooh La La!

Another view of Notre Dame.

This guy looks really worried.

A cafe near our apartment in the Saint Michel district.

Paris mixes the old with the new.

Me: "Hey Signe, that Eiffel Tower sure is beautiful. Will you take a photo of me with it?"

Signe: "Sure."

This street market was a pretty neat experience.

A doll and a squeezebox and you're in business.

On a bridge over the Seine.

This is about the only photo we have of us together in Paris. How dumb is that?

start brushing up on your French Nick, you'll be back there before you know it. I love the image of Signe with the reflection of the Eiffle Tower in her sunglasses.
